Zayo to attend HIMSS 2022: An Influential Week in Healthcare

Powering Healthcare Innovators with Infrastructure and Connectivity

Last year, we talked about how the pandemic put a huge strain on the healthcare system and its network infrastructure. Despite pushing the industry to its limits, the pandemic created plenty of opportunities to solve unprecedented problems of getting people access to information and healthcare.

Today, we are seeing a huge shift in the healthcare industry with virtual appointments, health and wellness apps, new messaging systems, and more. All of these new technologies at the edge prove that more than ever, the healthcare industry needs a safe, secure, and reliable way to provide healthcare access to the people who need it most. As adoption of these applications is increasing, the healthcare industry will only require more bandwidth and higher security standards to protect their network.

One of the ways that Zayo is making it easier to manage and protect your network is through the introduction of bundled product offerings. In case you missed it, Zayo recently released Shielded Internet Access (SIA) which combines dedicated internet access with DDoS protection, and optional Cloud connectivity. This is a perfect solution for companies that want a fast, reliable, and secure network at a reasonable price.

For multi-site organizations, we are taking it a step further. We will be releasing Shielded Virtual Network (SVN), a new product that offers secure multi-site connectivity, high-speed internet access, DDoS protection, and an optional direct connection to your company’s cloud service providers all through a dedicated pipe and multi-service port. SVN provides private, secure, and reliable connectivity for organizations with multiple locations.

SVN will initially be available in six pilot markets, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Indianapolis/Fort Wayne, Phoenix, Seattle, and Toronto.
