Marc C. Ganzi

Marc C. Ganzi is President and Chief Executive Officer of DigitalBridge Group, Inc. (NYSE:DBRG). Mr. Ganzi has been a successful entrepreneur and executive in the communications infrastructure industry for over 25 years, actively investing in and operating businesses across the digital ecosystem including cell towers, data centers, fiber, small cells, and edge infrastructure.

In 2013, Mr. Ganzi founded and served as the CEO of Digital Bridge Holdings (DBH), a leading global investor and owner of mobile and internet infrastructure. DBH was acquired by DigitalBridge in July 2019 as part of the Company’s transformation into the leading global investment firm focused on digital infrastructure. In conjunction with the acquisition, Mr. Ganzi was named CEO-Elect of DigitalBridge and assumed the role of CEO in July 2020. DigitalBridge currently manages a $35 billion portfolio of digital infrastructure assets on behalf of its limited partners and shareholders.

Before assuming his role as Founder and CEO of DBH, Mr. Ganzi founded Global Tower Partners (GTP) in 2003, which he built into one of the largest privately-owned tower companies in the U.S. before its acquisition by American Tower Corporation (NYSE:AMT) in 2013 for $4.8 billion. At GTP, Mr. Ganzi executed a series of strategic acquisitions, build-to-suit agreements with wireless carriers and financings in the credit markets. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Ganzi worked as a consulting partner for DB Capital Partners, where he oversaw the institution’s investments in the Latin American tower sector. Prior to that, Mr. Ganzi co-founded and served as President of Apex Site Management, one of the largest third-party managers of wireless and wireline communication sites in the United States. In 2000, Apex merged with SpectraSite Communications to create one of the largest telecommunications site portfolios in the United States at the time. Mr. Ganzi began his career in 1990 as an assistant Commercial Attaché in Madrid for the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Foreign Commercial Service Department.

Mr. Ganzi received a Bachelor of Science from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1993. He was a Board Member of the Wireless Infrastructure Association from 2008 to 2017 and served as its Chairman from 2009 to 2011. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, the Broadband Deployment Advisory Committee of the Federal Communications Commission, and he currently serves on the board of the Aspen Valley Ski Club.
