Use Cases

Your organization needs constant connectivity that’s built on a foundation of simple network resilience that just works, even during disasters, at remote locations, or on moving vehicles. As a STARLINK Authorized Reseller, we can extend your network availability, resilience, and reach without added complexity or compromise.

Explore the ways STARLINK can help keep you connected…when other technologies can’t.

Remote and Rural Connectivity

If your organization operates in remote or rural locations, fiber, 5G networks and DSL might not exist, could be too expensive to run, or take too long to deploy.  If you need asymmetrical internet virtually anywhere in the U.S. and Canada (and other countries coming soon), we can fill your connectivity gap with a STARLINK satellite bridge to the Internet. It’s quick and easy to deploy, manage, and maintain, and unlike other technologies, it solves your connectivity challenges, no matter your location.

Diversity, Resilience, Disaster Recovery

A day of downtime can cost millions of dollars, but wireline and cellular internet services are susceptible to physical damage, natural disasters (storms, earthquakes), and even attacks by bad actors. To ensure operational continuity despite damage and disaster, Zayo can provide STARLINK as a single-vendor, managed solution to increase your network diversity without terrestrial conduits. For this use case, we integrate STARLINK as a “resilient pairing,” configuring the satellite link as a network connection in SD-WAN, as a failover for Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) or as part of an IP-VPN.

Enhanced Mobile Connectivity

Not every organization stays still. Whether you’re driving around a state to provide field services, transporting goods onshoreor moving people around the country, consistent, trustworthy Internet hasn’t always been available everywhere you go. STARLINK can deliver fast, reliable, high-speed connectivity all around the world. With STARLINK, your operations can stay connected, even when your team is in motion.

If your network only works when everything goes right, it’s not a real network. STARLINK delivers reliable connectivity when fiber is cut, disasters hit, or the edge becomes the center of operations.
