Dense Dark Fiber and On-Net Data Centers Enable Network Connectivity in Atlanta
Atlanta, a network hub in the southeast, has a dense metro footprint containing high fiber counts and multiple ducts, providing secure and scalable high-capacity bandwidth. Our fiber fuels the Atlanta market with on-net connectivity to over 1,650 buildings including all major hospitals, banks, airlines and three of the four major universities in the area. Additionally, our network connects many Fortune 500 headquarters, wireless carriers, movie studios and churches.
Manage, customize and control your network with a dedicated and single-vendor solution combing dark fiber and equipment design. Unique to Zayo, we provide the lowest latency routes between data centers and data center tethering.
Fiber Network Expansion
We are continuously expanding our fiber footprint to provide customers with the most robust connectivity options. We will be extending our footprint in Atlanta with a 1,200-route mile build and a new unique route to Dallas, which will provide the lowest latency connection to the West Coast.
Dark Fiber History
With the acquisition of AGL Networks, AFS Networks, Abovenet and US Carrier, our dark fiber network has expanded by over 1,000 routes miles, delivering additional connectivity capabilities in Atlanta.
