Zayo Announces SSAE 16 SOC Compliant zColo Facilities
LOUISVILLE, Colo. – March 27, 2013 – Zayo Group today announced several of their zColo facilities have successfully completed the SSAE 16 SOC 1 Type I and the SSAE 16 SOC I Type II audits. The successful completion of these third-party audits demonstrates Zayo’s commitment to providing its customers with highly reliable services and operational transparency.
SSAE 16 SOC 1 Type II and Type I audits represent that a service organization has been through an in-depth review of their control objectives and control activities, often including controls over information technology and related processes. These certified facility reports are based on security measures, environmental controls and overall customer service of the facilities.
As of January 2013, the following zColo facilities are now certified:
SSAE 16 SOC 1 Type II:
111 8th Ave
209 10th Ave

Additionally, the SSAE 16 SOC 1 Type I and SSAE 16 SOC I Type II audits differentiate Zayo from many of its peers by demonstrating effectively designed control objectives and activities. zColo plans to expand its certification portfolio and provide customers access to the Service Auditor’s Report detailing the completion and accuracy of our security controls, environmental controls, and ticket management processes and procedures.
