Position Description

The successful candidate will be intellectually agile. They will demonstrate the ability to jump from developing key stakeholder relationships to high-level strategic discussions to new product evangelization. This role will support the Business Development effort for Zayo’s Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) product. We are looking for ambitious, independent Business Development professionals looking to “disrupt” the telecommunications industry by delivering unique, technology-focused product solutions.

Responsibilities 

  • Support Zayo’s Tranzact Sales Experts with training, technical expertise, and customer meetings
  • Support Business Development initiatives through data analysis to determine network build plans and new sales campaigns
  • Develop and grow relationships with Zayo Tranzact Sales Experts and Zayo customers
  • Partner with Product Marketing to execute unique sales campaigns

Qualifications 

  • 1-2 years of experience with a focus on business development, product management or sales
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Understand the drivers behind an enterprise’s need for network connectivity
  • Ability to prepare and present complex material in simple, concise communications
