Virtus Data Centres (“Virtus”), a leading UK provider of premium carrier-neutral data centre services, announced today that Geo Networks Limited (“Geo”) has installed a Point of Presence (PoP) at Virtus’ London (LON1) data centre, giving it direct access to Geo’s 3,000km high-capacity optical fibre network.
Geo’s presence will leverage Virtus’ high-specification data centre to a diverse customer base. The new high capacity network offers direct, fully resilient dedicated fibre connections to over 100 public and private data centres and exchanges, delivering competitive advantage to Virtus’ customers.
