Private Line service provides dedicated point-to-point and point-to-multipoint data transmission that is both logically and physically protected to ensure maximum network availability within a metro or regional network for the transport of voice, data and other forms of communication traffic.

All Private Line services are provided over Zayo’s fiber-based carrier grade network and delivers fiber-based (DS3-OC192) metro and regional transport between major aggregation points. It is offered as a protected or an unprotected service with multiple diversity and interface options supporting point-to-point, hub/tail, dedicated ring, and “flex package” configurations.

We offer a wide variety of Classic bandwidth and interface options to choose from to support fast and secure transmission of IP-based data, video, and voice traffic.

Private Line service is both logically and physically protected to ensure maximum network availability. Our arrangement with local exchange carriers at our point of presence (POP) sites provides easy access to switch and last-mile facilities for cost effective deployments. We provide Private Line service in the following configurations:

POP to LSO
Fiber-based transport to connect your POP and the ILEC LSO Connectivity is available via our metro and/or regional networks We have numerous on-net ILEC LSOs and continue to add new ILEC LSOs in support of carriers
POP to POP
Fiber-based transport connecting your POP to interconnect locations such as carrier hotels, Internet peering locations, cable provider head-ends, and wireless carrier MSCs Our network is diverse from other major carrier and ILEC networks We have hundreds of on-net carrier buildings and continue to add new buildings

POP to Enterprise
