Zayo Group Acquires AtlantaNAP Data Center

Jul 2, 2014 - Zayo has acquired Colo Facilities Atlanta (“AtlantaNAP”), an Atlanta data center and managed services provider. The acquisition yields over 72,000 square feet of total data center space, including 42,000 square feet of conditioned colocation space. The purchase brings Zayo’s data center count to 28 locations.

Zayo Group Completes Acquisition of Paris-Based Neo Telecoms

Jul 2, 2014 - Zayo has completed its purchase of Neo Telecoms (“Neo”), a Paris-based Bandwidth Infrastructure company. The acquisition adds 300 route miles of Paris dark fibre and more than 500 on-net buildings to Zayo’s network footprint in Europe. Through nine colocation facilities operated by Neo across France, Zayo can now offer an additional 36,000 square feet of data center space to customers.

Zayo Group Expands 100G Capability Across European Network

Jun 26, 2014 - Zayo announced today the completion of a network upgrade which enables Zayo to provide 100G wavelength services over its long-haul European network. Zayo’s long-haul network extends from London to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to Paris, and Paris to London.

Zayo Selected as an Authorized Provider for The Quilt

Jun 25, 2014 - Zayo has been selected as an Authorized Quilt Provider (AQP) of IP services for The Quilt, a national coalition of advanced regional networks for research and education. As an AQP, Zayo can now provide IP services to Quilt members, including 35 regional networks that collectively pass traffic for more than 3,000 colleges, universities, and K-12 educational institutions across the U.S.

Zayo Group Signs Multi-Service Deal with TalkTalk

Jun 12, 2014 - Zayo has expanded its existing contract with quad-play operator TalkTalk, enabling the carrier to offer enhanced services to its 4 million customers in the UK. The contract provides TalkTalk with several UK network services, including: 10G wavelengths within the UK and across Europe, an increase in IP transit service speeds from 30G to 50G, and 10G transatlantic services from London to New York.
